Ramadan

Ramadan means fasting in the a months of the  five pillar islam. Fard upon every muslim, male and female who is sane and mature. Fasting has also many physical, moral and social benefits. However, Allah has made fasting compulsory so that we become pious person, god fearing and learn to be patient in every one months of the year to welcome a ramadhan. Almighty Allah has promised great reward for those who fast. Then, there are many title about ramadhan can we know.

Firstly , the interesting about ramadhan , it is a common for a muslims to go to the mosque and spend a several hour praying and having the tadarus together to strengthen  ties between fellow pilgrims. In addition to the five daily prayers , during ramadhan muslim recite a special that we called the 'Terawih' prayer. This length of this prayer is usually 2-3 times as long at the daily prayers . It also make the muslims are also spend the entire night in prayer to get reward.

Fasting is more than remaining hungry and thirsty for the sake of Allah . During the fasting we try and implement every principle of islam within our lives. For example, we no longer fight, argue , lie or cheat. Other qualities such as miserly , greed , selfishness and apathy for the suffering are also purged from our lives. We do as many as good deeds as possible and are concerned for the well being of all our muslim communities throughout the world in Ramadan people are more generous and give from their pockets and hearts to those less fortunate . There is an aura of love and compassion surrounding every individual  as the self-centredness is refocused to most around them. Ramadan is about getting things that we can't but can't but can perceive with our hearts and minds. Fasting us a spiritual exercise that has disappeared from many religious practices the world over.

Sahur is an islamic term referring to the meal consumed early in the morning by muslims before fasting. The meal eaten before fajr prayer, sahur as the morning meal is matched by iftar as meals a day, although in some places dinner is also consumed after iftar later during the night. Being the last meal eaten by muslims before fasting from dawn to sunset durinh the month of Ramadan.

Rather than people finding themselves , I think they get a taste of Islam and they re-discover their spiritual nature that is often neglected  within their worldly lives. They are attracted to the love and peace of Islam and are invigorated to follow the will and plan of their Creator. It is indeed a great favour bestowed  upon those that Allah has given guidance.
